I really wish I could give zero stars! I ordered some shoes back in December, but FedEx lost them. I contacted customer service right away, and they assured me I’d get a refund, the original order, or a replacement. After a few follow-ups, they’ve totally stopped replying. This is unbelievable! I can’t even track down a phone number to call! This is the worst shopping experience I’ve ever had!

I wish 0 stars was an option! I ordered shoes in December, which were misplaced by FedEx. I reached out to customer support instantly, and they promised me a refund, the original package or a replacement. After replying a few times, they have COMPLETELY ghosted me. This is shocking! I cant even find a phone number to reach out to! Worst customer experience ever!

Is Yatay out of business? 'Jimmy' from customer support hasn't replied, the site ain't working right, and my shoes fell apart in under three months... it was a good time, but now it's not so great...

Has Yatay gone bust. 'Jimmy' the customer service help has not responded and website is not really functioning and my shoes have broken after less than 3months......was a fun but now less so...

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. To start, the shoes resemble cheap plastic, which is exactly what they are, and they’re asking for €270! Don’t get tricked by the fancy photos on their site.

On top of looking like junk, they didn’t fit me at all, so I quickly tried to return them.

It’s been weeks, and I’ve spent countless hours trying to get a reply from them. Every time I reach out, they’ve dodged my questions, made excuses, and used annoying delay tactics like sending me broken links and telling me to download a return label that doesn’t even exist.

I suspect the positive reviews here are fake. Don’t fall for their scam. Just take a look at how they respond to the negative feedback—there’s zero accountability.

Save your time and your cash.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. First of all, the shoes look like literal pieces of plastic, which in reality is what they are, they look incredibly cheap and they are charging €270! Don't be fooled by the slick photography on their website.

Secondly, not only did they look like cheap rubbish, they did not fit me either, so I immediately set about returning them.

It has taken weeks and taken up hours and hours of my time badgering them to even get a response. At every turn they have obfuscated, made excuses, used infuriating delaying tactics by sending me links that do not work, directed me to download a return label that does not exist, etc., etc.

I believe the positive reviews on here are fake. Do not be taken in by their scam. Even look at their responses to the reviews that are poor. There is zero actual accountability.

Do not waste your time and money.

What a brilliant idea! For every pair you buy, you get to pick a tree to be planted in the rainforest, and you can keep track of its growth journey. We chose an eucalyptus tree—so cool! 🤩 Plus, the shoe box turns into a backgammon game, and they even include the chips (yep, you heard me right! 😂). They also come with extra laces made from the same material as the shoes. They look fantastic—chic yet casual. Honestly, I’m a bit envious of my husband for scoring such awesome kicks! 😆

A) for every pair purchased get to choose a tree of your choice to get planted in the rainforest and can monitor its growing journey - we’ve planted an eucalyptus one - exciting 🤩
B) the shoe box itself transform into a game of backgammon and you even get the backgammon chips in the box (yes you read that right 😂)
C) extra laces in the same material as the whole shoe
D) they look fantastic, chic and yet casual

We really had to battle yatay to get them to honor their advertised free returns on the US website. It was a terrible experience, which is honestly a bummer because my husband and I are trying to find the best sustainable options to replace all our shoes. But after what we went through, there's no way we're buying from yatay again.

But after our experience there is a solid zero chance we will be purchasing from yatay in the future.

I reached out to you about returning the sneakers that don’t fit. You didn’t get back to me, so I ended up donating them. Customer service is really lacking. I wouldn’t recommend shopping here, since if the items don’t suit you, there’s no way to send them back. I tried contacting them several times but got no reply.

I would not buy from this site, as if the merchandise does not work for you you have no way to return it. I reached out to them multiple times with no response.

This company is just awful. They claim to offer "Support 24/7" on their site, but there's no option to call or chat with anyone; you can only send an email. So, I shot them an email and got crickets in return. I'm trying to send back my shoes, and it's a real hassle, even though their site says, "How to make the return? Nothing simpler." The instructions tell you to log in and check your order, but guess what? My order isn't even listed. I did find a way to request a return through the email they sent when I purchased the shoes, but even though their site promises, "Within 24h you will receive an email confirming acceptance of your request, with a copy of the summary with the details of the return," it's been four days and still nothing. Seriously, steer clear of Yatay; they might look all professional online, but their customer service is a total letdown. If I don't see a refund in the next couple of days, I'm just gonna have to reach out to my credit card company for a chargeback.

This is top-notch quality, I really dig it!
